Join us at Laurier

Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

The Laurier Association for Lifelong Learning (LALL) is a unique option for adult learning. Courses are non-credit and are intended for personal interest and self-education. The distinction between a LALL course and a university course is that LALL courses have no exams, no grading and no prerequisites.

Making Quality Learning Affordable

The LALL program provides university quality courses for under $100 with a focus on:

  • Community: LALL builds community with a diverse range of course topics, small classes and social events.
  • Notable instructors: For over 20 years, LALL has brought in top-ranking instructors to create and deliver enriching learning experiences.
  • Learning resources: LALL participants have access to Laurier's online learning portal where instructors can post readings, materials and more.

Stay Connected

LALL shares upcoming offerings and registration details via our email list. We also send out emails highlighting upcoming events that we think would be of interest to our LALL student group (e.g. lectures, film screenings, expert panels, performances, etc.).

We hate spam as much as you do and we do our very best to only send information to keep you informed about LALL.

If you would like to receive email communication from LALL, please join our mailing list.
